ABOUT MOSAIC

Muslims of Southern Alberta Initiating Change (MOSAIC) is a non-profit volunteer organization that strives to provide opportunities for our youth. Founded by Dr. Abdul Rahman in 2008 as a platform for volunteerism, this organization allows students who are aged 12 and above to experience volunteering in a variety of different environments. Our volunteers are able to learn communication and leadership during their course of involvement with MOSAIC. MOSAIC Volunteer Association is motivated, organized, supportive, active, innovative and cohesive that aims to act as the arms and muscles of other non-profits and charitable organization in the region of Southern Alberta.

MISSON

To register and train our youth in the noble cause of volunteerism to the extent that it helps to uplift the Southern Alberta community in general and Muslim community in particular, by providing volunteer training and leadership skills to Muslims of Southern Alberta. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We sincerely believe that every MOSAIC volunteer helps us achieve our ultimate goal of initiating change within our community; together, we can change the future of many negative aspects in our society.
